Addabarie Estate: The Assam blend is an ode to the humble ginger and long conversations savoured over endless cups of tea. Addabarie has two different folk legends that throw light on its unusual name. The first traces back to wild ginger or 'adda' that once grew in abundance in the gardens. The second - that a river running through the estate was a popular gathering spot, or ‘adda’ for country boats. Either way, whether ginger or a gathering - tea is its perfect accompaniment.
Brewing Instructions : Place a teaspoon of leaves in a cup and pour boiling hot water over it. Infuse for 3-4 mins for a clear and medium body liquor. To savour without milk , add some honey or sweetener of choice. Infuse upto 5 mins for a stronger brew. Savour in the traditional Indian style of brewing upto 7 mins with milk & sugar.
