Nutty & sweet in taste, Kidney Beans (Speckled) have a red speckled texture and attain a creamy smooth texture when cooked. It is a good source of protein and is rich in fibre. It is used in the preparation of a variety of traditional dishes and is a common staple in North India.
Chitra Rajma is popularly used to make rajma masala, pulao, dal makhani and khichdi.
Our Chitra Rajma has no added chemicals, polishes, or colours. It is organically grown using sustainable agricultural practices.
How to use: To prepare Chitra Rajma for curry, soak for 8-9 hours and pressure cook for 5-6 whistles. To make sprouts, soak for 24-36 hours till white roots emerge and the rajma is soft to eat. Rinse well before consuming. You can also add boiled or sprouted Chitra Rajma to chaats and salads.
