Nutty in taste and creamy in texture, Kidney Beans (small) are plump little beans that are small and dark red in colour. Kidney beans are a good source of protein, making them a perfect meat alternative for vegetarians and vegans. Also, rajma and rice are a classic combination for North Indians.
Jammu Rajma is perfect for making Rajma curry which is a traditional Kashmiri dish made with kidney beans, tomatoes and spices, and is often served with rice or roti. It is also used to make kebabs and chaats.
Our Jammu Rajma has no added chemicals, polishes or colours. It is organically grown using sustainable agricultural practices.
How to use: To prepare Jammu Rajma for curry, soak for 8-9 hours and pressure cook for 5-6 whistles. To make sprouts, soak for 24-36 hours till white roots emerge and the rajma is soft to eat. Rinse well before consuming. You can also add boiled or sprouted Jammu Rajma to chaats and salads.
